This very limited release consists of just 470 bottles in total. It's a shade over five years old, crafted from spirit matured in an Oloroso Sherry hogshead, partnered with components matured in a Bourbon barrel.
 
Sherry notes are immediately noticeable on the nose, augmented by hints of butter and cream. On the palate, burnished mahogany gives way to complex sweet flavours of plums, dried pears, figs and raisins. The whole array is overlaid with a sweetness derived from the sherry oak. It finishes with real depth of flavour; gently oaky tones gradually giving way to brown sugar and vanilla, all lingering beautifully.
